Animation World Network has an incredible article detailing the life and influence of one of animations greatest masters; Frank Thomas.
Frank has influenced so many animators and generations of animation enthusiasts. Co-writer of The Illusion of Life: Disney Animation, and one of the "9 Old Men" of Disney, Thomas' animation career spanned many decades as he contributed from movies like Pinnochio to The Rescuers. A great documentary about his career and lifelong friend Ollie Johnston called "Frank and Ollie" is available through Disney DVD.
